Terms of Service
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By inviting Tuna to a Discord server, or by using any command Tuna provides, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, remove the bot from your server and stop using it. These Terms apply alongside Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which always take priority in the event of a conflict.
The Service
Tuna is a free, third-party Discord bot providing moderation, automod, an in-server economy, leveling, a looking-for-group (LFG) system, ticket and staff-application tools, booster perks, and related utilities. Tuna is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guaranteed uptime, response time, or feature roadmap.
Eligibility
You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement to use Discord at all, and by extension to use Tuna. Server administrators are responsible for configuring Tuna in a manner appropriate for their community, including compliance with any age-gating their server itself requires.
Acceptable Use
- You may not use Tuna to violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
- You may not attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload Tuna's commands or infrastructure.
- You may not use Tuna to harass, threaten, or facilitate harm against any individual or group.
- Server administrators are responsible for how Tuna's configurable features (automod thresholds, fake permissions, booster perks, economy, etc.) are set up in their own server.
Administrator Responsibility
Anyone with Manage Server permission in a server that has added Tuna can configure the bot's behavior in that server, including moderation settings, automod rules, and permission grants. Tuna is not responsible for configuration choices made by a server's own administrators.
Availability & Changes
Tuna may be updated, modified, restarted, or discontinued at any time without notice. Commands may be added, changed, or removed between updates. We aim to preserve data (economy balances, warnings, case history, etc.) across updates but cannot guarantee this in every circumstance — see the Privacy Policy for details on what is stored.
No Warranty
Tuna is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. You use Tuna at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Tuna is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the bot — including moderation actions taken by the bot, data loss, or server disruption.
Termination
Access to Tuna may be revoked for any server or individual user at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, Discord's own policies, or at the sole discretion of the bot's operator. Removing Tuna from your server at any time ends these Terms for that server.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of Tuna after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
